Why attend? AKT Peerless Environmental Services is a major partner and sponsor with the Genesee County Land Bank. This year's conference is sure to have something for everyone. State Representative Steve Tobocman will be the keynote speaker. There will be a mobile tour showcasing developments done by or in partnership with the Genesee County Land Bank. Conference sessions include panels and presentations on the ripple effect of vacant properties, how successful partnerships produce wanted results, knowing your inventory, HUD $1 home program, MSHDA funding opportunities, and much more. The conference will end with a closing luncheon and open idea exchange. Participate in the sharing of views, visions and concepts to help combat the problems of vacant properties affecting every community.

Anyone interested in learning, and sharing experiences of vacant, abandoned and foreclosed properties - public officials, land bank authority staff and board members, brownfield redevelopment authority staff and board members, community development professionals, non-profit partners, local and state governmental staff, citizen activists, real estate professionals, academics, developers, planners, and others.
