We’re excited to announce the addition of Clifton Wheeler to our Cleveland, Ohio team. He has significant experience in the environmental consulting industry and will contribute to the ongoing development of our Cleveland office, helping provide additional value to clients.
Clifton is a highly accomplished environmental professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry. He specializes in providing environmental due diligence, site investigation and remediation, and the redevelopment of brownfield properties for lenders, developers, municipalities, land banks and more.
Clifton has been a key contributor to brownfield revitalization efforts across Ohio, leveraging his in-depth understanding of the state’s regulatory landscape, particularly Ohio’s Voluntary Action Program. Clifton has successfully secured millions in state and federal funding to support environmental assessments and cleanup efforts, helping transform impaired properties into valuable, productive assets.
Clifton will oversee and expand AKT Peerless’ environmental and brownfield redevelopment services in Ohio, including:
- Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I & II Investigations)
- Ohio VAP Process Management
- Brownfield Redevelopment Planning and Consulting
- Ohio Department of Development Grant Coordination
