Environmental Project Manager - West Michigan

Position: Environmental Project Manager

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, or related from an accredited university.
Strong technical writing skills.
Excellent organizational and communications skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
UST/LUST experience preferred.
Experience with environmental due diligence is preferred but not required.

Preferred:

6-10 years of Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, or related environmental experience.
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training
Direct experience should include performing UST/LUST assessment and reporting, hydrogeological investigations, monitoring/sampling all media, and environmental site assessments (Phase I, Phase II, & BEA/DDCC).
Remedial design/implementation is a plus but not required.
Practical ability to analyze field and technical data, perform research, demonstrate technical knowledge, and solve problems.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment providing UST/LUST management, remediation services, and environmental due diligence services.

Expectations Include:

An understanding of NREPA Part 213
An understanding of NREPA Part 201
Managing/overseeing hydrogeological investigations,
Interpretation of analytical data using spreadsheets and databases.
Conducting/Managing Phase I ESAs to ASTM or higher standards.
Conducting/Managing Phase II ESAs.
Demonstrating full understanding of each project’s status and goals.
Performing tasks across multiple disciplines to bring about successful project completion.
Providing quality environmental services.
Managing and responding to client’s expectations and project objectives.
