COVID-19 Update to our Community and Clients

On behalf of AKT Peerless, we hope you and your loved ones are healthy and safe during this challenging time.

The health and wellness of our employees and their families, clients, and communities is our highest priority. As we continue to monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we want to assure you that we have been taking proactive precautions in our offices to mitigate the spread of the virus by enhancing sanitization, maintaining social distancing, and instituting a work from home policy.

Recently, many states have instituted “Stay Home, Stay Safe” executive orders for non-essential businesses. We want to inform our clients that AKT Peerless provides Essential Services, as defined by Homeland Security and the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and remains open for business. These Essential Services protect human health and safety, provide direct assistance to municipalities, and support continued banking transactions. We have field staff available to complete these essential services and please be assured that AKT Peerless staff follow CDC guidelines to minimize the spread of COVID-19 when completing these services.

Additionally, we wanted to mention some internal efforts to support our local communities during these trying times. As part of our ongoing sustainability planning efforts, we identified several community engagement activities that were planned to occur later in 2020. However, in light of the current crisis, we are advancing those efforts to support donations to local organizations in need of assistance in the battle against the coronavirus. AKT Peerless and our employees have donated to local homeless shelters, food banks, distribution centers, and school programs providing breakfast and lunch. As we work through these unprecedented times, we will continue to support our community neighbors and their families.

We extend our gratitude and appreciation to the healthcare workers and agencies working to contain the coronavirus. We will continue to navigate COVID-19 and provide any updates that impact our employees, communities, and clients.  Our thoughts are with the families that have been affected.  We wish you and your loved ones good health.

For the most updated information, we encourage you to visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Sincerely,

AKT Peerless
